What is a consignor?

A Kisses and Stitches' consignor is anyone who either has a minimum of 15 items to sell or a few high-dollar items totaling at least $30. The more you consign, the more money you earn. PLUS, you have the opportunity to shop before the public at the regular sale and 1/2 price day! You will also receive a pass for one guest to shop at the pre-sale.

How do I become a consignor?

You must obtain a consignor number by emailing us at kissesandstitches@yahoo.com

 

We only accept the first 100 consignors per sale!

If you have consigned with us before and already have a consignor number, you still must email us to register for each sale.

Only the first 100 consignors will be accepted for each sale!

What do we accept?

Kisses and Stitches only accepts quality, clean, and current items! We will not accept any items that have stains, holes, missing parts, bad odors, etc.

 

We accept:

          *ALL brands of children's clothing sizes 0-16 as well as Junior

           Apparel (please don't bring misses or adult items).

          *Maternity clothing.

          *Baby equipment (please make sure it meets all safety standards

           and is not on the recall list HERE).

          *Socks and Underwear in like new condition.

          *Toys/Games/Puzzles in excellent/working condition. Batteries  

           MUST be included if needed.

          *Shoes in great condition.

          *Kids/Nursery Furniture, to include Cribs (only accepted if

           manufactured after Fall 2011), Changing Tables, Rockers, Gliders,

           Children's Dressers, Bunk Beds, etc.

          *Nursery Bedding.

          *Bedroom decor for baby, children, or teen.

          *Outdoor play equipment (must be in good, clean condition).

          *Parenting and Children's books.

          *Kid's DVDs.

          *Bikes/Scooters in good condition.

          *Car Seats/Boosters AS LONG AS: it's not expired (check the label

            on the seat), it has NEVER been in automobile accident, includes all

            parts, straps not worn or frayed, etc. Please check HERE to make

            sure it has not been recalled.

We do NOT accept:

          *Items that have stains, bad odors, holes, missing parts, etc.

          *VHS tapes

​

What do I earn?

*Consignors keep 70% of the selling price of each item. 

 

*A $15 consignor fee will be deducted from your earnings. 

​

*You will receive your earnings via check. Your check will be mailed to

  you within 14 days from the pick-up of your unsold items. 

​

*Your check can be mailed to you without your sold tags 

   OR

 You can pick-up your check with your tags on the date that you are

 given at drop-off.  

​

*All items NOT picked up at the end of the sale will be donated.

​

​

Important Tag information:

*ALL tags must be written on index cards (using

   the format of the sample on the left), OR you

   can print your tags on card-stock using THIS

   template.

*If you do NOT wish your items to be discounted

    on the last day, please be sure to place a red "X"

    above the price on the tag. No other markings

    will guarantee that your items will not get 

    discounted. 

*Be sure to make sure your consignor number

    is correctly printed at the bottom of your tags!

 

How to attach tags to Clothing, Shoes, Toys, and Equipment?

When tags become separated from your items, everyone loses! We will not sell items without tags because consignors cannot be properly credited. Please make sure that your tags are securely attached!

​

          *Clothing: When hanging clothes, make sure that you face your item

            on the hanger so it will look like a question mark "?". When hanging

            pants, be sure to pin the pants to the hanger shoulder area unless

            you are using pants hangers. To attach the index card/tag, you

            must use a safety pin attached at the top of the index card: see

            photo to the left. The tag must be attached to the clothing item and

            not the hanger.

          *Shoes: They need to be placed in a ziplock bag with the tag inside

            the bag or held together by a safety pin or zip-tie. 

          *Toys/Equipment: Packing tape is ideal for many toy items. Be sure

            to secure all pieces because the toys get played with while parents

            are shopping, and we are not responsible for lost pieces.

           *Books/Puzzles: Blue painter's tape is ideal as it prevents surface

             from tearing when removed.

Drop Off Procedure?

*All clothing MUST be divided by gender and in size order.

*Park and unload all your items.

*Assemble any necessary items.

*Amy or Holly will quickly look through your clothes to ensure that there

 are no obvious stains or missing buttons or items with a bad odor.

*Fill out your paperwork, self-address an envelope, and get your passes for the pre-sale!

Pick Up Procedure?

*Any unsold items that you wish to pick up will be available and sorted by

 consignor number. 

*Remember to check the lost-and-found for items that have become

 separated from sets or have lost its tag. 

*Don't forget to sign your waiver that you have picked up your items.

*Unsold items NOT picked up at this time will be donated to charity! We

 regret that there are no reminder calls. Please have a friend/family

 member pick up your unsold items if you are unavailable to do so! We are

 sorry, but there are NO exceptions!
